Chilean region V's Valparaíso port has resumed operations at over 90% of its normal operating capacity, the state-owned port administrator reported in a release.
The port was damaged by the 8.8 magnitude earthquake that affected central-southern Chile on February 27.
A total of 6 (1-4, 6 and 8) of the port's 8 docks are operative, while docks 5 and 7 will continue to be closed until studies determine the damage they suffered and the repairs needed.
The port facility is currently handling all types of ships and is preparing to serve four cruise ships in the next three days.
