Chile's President Michelle Bachelet said the reconstruction of the country will take 3-4 years, following the 8.8 magnitude earthquake and ensuing tsunami that hit the country on February 27.

Chilean region V's Ventanas port has suffered damage after the 8.8 magnitude earthquake that affected the country's central-southern region, a communications official from the port firm told BNamericas. Only one of the port's five docks is currently operative, while a team of specialists is working to rehabilitate the others, the official said.
