Chilean state bank BancoEstado said it has granted mortgage loan clients who suffered from Saturday's earthquake a period of 90 days to file their insurance claims.

Chile's state bank BancoEstado announced that clients in the regions most affected by Saturday's earthquake (Maule and Bío Bío) will be granted a 60-day period during which they do not have to make payments on consumer loans, credit cards and university loans. As for mortgage loan payments, the period is 6 months.
